Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, Please?

On Monday, October 31st, from 3p – 6p, Fremont will be overrun (hopefully) by mini-princesses, short superheroes, and assorted pint-sized masqueraders seeking treats.

Trick-or-Treat in Fremont is simple – children (in costume) stroll among shops, restaurants, offices and a museum (yes, this includes History House) that have posted a “Participating Business” sign on the door.  The children must have an adult accompany them.  Additionally, as organizer, I’d like to demand every costumed kid say, “Trick-or-Treat!,” but that might be a little too old school.

Yet, because I assist the businesses in offering this option to parents, I do get to insist that Fremont’s Trick-or-Treat take place ON Halloween Day, October 31st, every year – even when that puts it on a Monday.

This year, thanks to a generous donation from the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, Trick-or-Treat will also include the decidedly un-scary, untraditional and completely FUN Bubbleman!  On Red Triangle (at Lenin’s heel) from 3:30p – 4:30p, Bubbleman will entertain with spectacular bubble creations – for both children and those age-challenged children (a.k.a. adults that know bubbles are cool!)

What Trick-or-Treat In Fremont does need, every year, are kids!  Please, spread the word, we’ve got treats here, ready to hand out – particularly those businesses in Upper Fremont, Stone Way and West Fremont.
