Snow Leopards, Tigers & Music At The Zoo, Oh My!

Plenty to experience (and growl over) through the Woodland Park Zoo, right now and all summer long…

Recently, the Zoo reported on the birth of three baby snow leopards to parents Helen and Tom.  The three baby cubs are being cared for behind the scenes in a quiet den room, nursing and bonding with mom.  The cubs will make their public debut mid-summer, once they are big enough to venture out safely.  Until then, the Zoo has photos and videos available on-line.

Support has been pouring in to fund construction of a new home for the endangered tigers and sloth bears, but the project needs one more big financial boost by Friday, May 25th to meet the goal.  If gifts help the Zoo achieve the $100,000 mark by deadline, construction on the new exhibit can begin in September 2012 with phase one opening in May 2013.  Give ten for tigers right now, and consider forwarding the link to ten friends!
