On Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th, at 7:30p, turn out to support efforts to fight human trafficking – and enjoy a show of artistic beauty and stunning talent at the same time.

At the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, in the Grand Hall, the Karin Stevens Dance company and the rock band JUBILEE will perform together on a show called The New Abolitionist Movement: A Dance Concert For A Slave-Free World.  The show supports the collaborative work of Seattle Against Slavery, and offers artistic works that reflect on human rights to freedom and dignity, and justice.

Tickets for the performance, which will also include poetry, photography and a few words from Seattle Against Slavery Executive Director Lacie Morrison, can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets, and at the door.
