On Sunday, October 26th, starting at Noon, volunteers are needed to help clean the Fremont Troll statue in preparation for his 24th birthday on Friday, Oct 31st.
The old boy needs a spruce up, with volunteers needed to move dirt, sweep, scrub and generally tidy up the area from a busy summer of visitors. Wear work clothes, and bring gloves. If you can bring snacks for yourself and other volunteers, that would be great too!
All year ‘round, the Fremont Troll endures visitors that come from all over the world just to see him. This is the time of the year where he gets some tender lovin’ care, as a birthday gift from the community that adores him. Turn out to meet other fans of the Troll, and give the Chief Curmudgeon at the Center of the Universe a little of your spit-n-polish.
